The Class of 1969 had a fantastic Homecoming weekend as they celebrated the 50th anniversary of their graduation from Fairhaven High School. They also devised a creative way of involving classmate Tom Wojcik (cardboard cut out in center of photo) who was unable to attend the events because of his son's wedding. The '69ers kicked off the weekend by meeting up at FHS on Friday evening and raising the Big Flag signifying the start of the Fairhaven Homecoming festivities. They had a great party at the Century House on Saturday evening and were thrilled when Mr. Donald J.B. Dufour (and his wife Muriel) stopped by to visit and reminisce with his former students.
On Sunday morning the Class of 1969 became the 17th consecutive 50th reunion class to host the All-Class Breakfast Buffet at FHS which is always catered by Matt Gamache '78 and his Courtyard Restaurant. Sue (Almeida) Joseph served as the Chair of the Breakfast and she and her classmates did a great job organizing and hosting the breakfast which was attended by about 110 people from all classes.
