Mr. Dufour to be Honored by Hall of Fame

Mr. Donald J.B. Dufour will be inducted into the FHS Hall of Fame on Sunday, June 30, 2019 as a "Lifetime Achiever" at the annual Banquet and Induction ceremony.  Mr. Dufour retired from his position as a French teacher/Director of the Foreign Languages Dept. in 1990, and has been residing full time in Fort Myers, FL ever since. He celebrated his 91st birthday in April, and he's in great shape as you can see from this photo with his wife Muriel. He still plays tennis three times a week (and he'll also tell you about all of his wins and team championships at the drop of a hat). Many alums have been asking how they can get tickets to attend the banquet and get to see and speak with Mr. Dufour again. The Hall of Fame Committee will have several tables reserved for his former students.  If you would like to attend the banquet at the Century House in Acushnet starting with a Social Hour at 5:00 PM, please email Bob Foster at:  rwfoster22@gmail.com to reserve your seat. Tickets are $35 and include a dinner buffet. We would love to see a large contingent of his former students in attendance to celebrate his special evening.
