Scott was one of the finest three sport athletes to have played at Fairhaven High School in the '80's. A three-year letterman in football and basketball and two-year letter winner in baseball, Scott was highly recognized for his exploits on the fields and court.
In basketball he scored 1147 points and was the team captain of the 1986-87 group that went to the State Finals in the Worcester Centrum. He was a South Coast Conference and Standard Times All Star in his junior and senior seasons and a Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Star in his senior year as well.
In football Scott won the Harold S. Macomber, Jr. Award in 1986 and was an SCC and Standard-Times All-Star in 1985 and 1986.
Scott batted .400 and served the baseball team as its starting catcher in " both·1986 and 1987.
A recipient of Fairhaven High School's Mel Entin Award and the Edward Andrews Award, Scott went on to Bridgewater State College where he captained the basketball team in 1990 and 1991 and was the MAS-CAL assist leader in 1990.
