David Entin was one of the first, if not the first, five letter athletes at Fairhaven High School. Track and field, baseball, football, basketball, and tennis were all sports in which Dave Entin excelled while at FHS.
Dave preceded his brother Mel at FHS, but joined with him as one of the most successful doubles combinations in tennis in the school's history.
As a track athlete and on the gridiron, basketball court, and diamond, Dave Entin's was a name known far and wide. His achievements brought glory to the Entin name and to FHS athletics.
After high school David went on the Boston University, College of Business Administration and B.U. Law School. In 1934, he set up his law practice in Fall River and served the city in a variety of capacities, including Corporate Council to the city 1958-1964. He is also the former president of the Fall River Bar Association.
