Jason wanted to play fullback when he joined the Blue Devils as a freshman, but was asked to try the position of quarterback. Once he moved there, he never wanted to leave.

After he took over the permanent role of starting quarterback and team leader at the beginning of the 1991 season Jason led his team to a combined two year record of 19-3-0, a South Coast Conference Championship and the Division 4 Large School Super Bowl title with a 30-27 victory over East Bridgewater. The offense averaged over 24 points per game under his leadership.

His senior year, Jason ran for 10 touchdowns and threw for 7 more in sparking the Blue Devils to an 8-2-0 record. His biggest game came in a 34-6 rout of Apponoquet, when he had his first 3 touchdown day of his high school career. The key to their wishbone offense, Jason always had a starring role in their victories. Earning All-Conference honors both seasons, he also won the Harold Macomber Memorial Award as the Most Valuable Player of the Thanksgiving Day game.

Jason also played basketball for three years and baseball for one year. One of his coaches remarked that "Jason would never give up, no matter what the odds. He always had incredible drive and maturity. He was a leader and had the ability to get his teammates to focus on the task at hand."

Jason was the recipient of the Edmund Andrews Award, which is given to a senior athlete who reflects the greatest credit on F.H.S. He was also President of the Class of 1993.

Jason graduated from West Point Military Academy in 1998. While at West Point, he played quarterback for the Army Football team.

He served 9 months in Honduras in 1999, followed by 18 months in Seoul, Korea. He has earned his Master's Degree and currently lives in Texas.
