Six of her nine career losses were to her nemesis three-time Standard-Times Player of the Year Amy Heacox (Old Rochester).

Christina was an outstanding team leader and role model for younger players and served as team captain during her junior and season seasons. She was a South Coast Conference all-star for all four of her varsity seasons and was selected to The Standard-Times Super Team in her sophomore, junior and senior years. She also had the honor of being named to the newspaper’s All-Decade Team (2010-2019).

In the fall Christina played girls’ soccer and had the distinction of being a four-year starter on defense, playing the sweeper position. At the conclusion of her freshman season her team-mates selected her as Rookie of the Year. Over the next two seasons her teammates acclaimed Christina as Fairhaven’s Defensive Player of the Year.

She was named to the SCC All-Conference team as a junior and senior, and in her senior season, her team named Christina as their Most Valuable Player while The Standard-Times hailed her as an all-star, calling her “a defensive anchor who never got beat in one-on-one situations”. The newspaper also pointed out that the four-year starter “was an aggressive player with a good head on her shoulders who knew when to commit and when to contain and always came ready to play”.

Christina was also fully involved within Fairhaven High School. She partici-pated in winter track for four years and was treasurer for the Class of 2011 all four years. In addition, Christina was the vice-president of the International Club for her last three years and was vice-president of the Peer Mediation Group during her junior and senior years. In the classroom, she graduated with a 3.75 GPA and was ranked 22nd in her class.

Christina went on to further her education at the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) Isenberg School of Management, graduating in 2015 with a 3.8 GPA and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting.
