After suffering a neck injury in the first game of his sophomore year that ended his football career, Frank turned his attention to a different fall sport. He became the varsity goaltender on the defending South Coast Conference champion soccer squad. And defend he did. As a rookie he was ranked third best in the conference and the team finished the season as co-champions in the conference. He was the recipient of the Defense Award from the coaching staff. In 1992 he earned South Coast Conference All-Star honors and served as team captain.
Frank played the forward position on the freshman basketball ream that posted a perfect 16-0 season record. The following year, he was the leading scorer and rebounder on the jayvee squad that posted a 17-1 record. He continued to impress with excellent all around play and saw limited action on a varsity team that ended the season as South Coast Conference Co-Champions. Playing varsity his last two years, the 5'1O" guard was often called to play the center position against players 6 to 7" taller. He was the recipient of the Vern Gomes Memorial Award in 1991.
But it was in baseball that Frank really excelled. Playing varsity all four years, Frank was captain his senior year. He pitched and played the shortstop position. He batted .345 and defensively committed only 4 errors in 4 years. From the mound he turned in good performances going 3-3 his senior year with a team low ERA of 2.56.
Winning second team all-star honors in the South Coast Conference in 1991 and 1992, he was a member of the first team South Coast Conference All-Stars in 1993. Frank was also a Standard Times All-Star second team selection for three consecutive years.
Frank earned 8 varsity letters as a Blue Devil and was rewarded his senior year with the F.H.S. Spirit Award and the "Athlete for all Seasons" Award.
Frank was a member of the Student Council for all four years and led the group as president his senior year. Frank also served on the Executive Committee for his class for all four years as well as the Peer Leadership team.
