New Scoreboard Erected at Alumni Stadium
The new scoreboard for the new Turf Field at Alumni Stadium was erected on Friday, October 15, 2021 just in time for the Football Team's first home game that evening against Bourne High School. The $30,000 scoreboard donated by the FHS Alumni Association is a state-of-the-art multi-sport scoreboard that is being used by the Boys' and Girls' Soccer Teams, the Girls' Field Hockey Team and the Boys' and Girls' Lacrosse Teams in the spring.
In the photo of the scoreboard one can see the result of the football game versus Seekonk on October 22, 2021 when FHS clinched the Southcoast Conference Gold Division Championship by a score of 35-3. As of October 29th the football team was 6-2 and were undefeated (2-0) on the new field.
