2022 Light-a-Light Fundraiser Kicks Off!
The 2021 Light-a-Light Campaign was our most successful one in our 37 years of conducting this fundraiser with over $42,000 being raised thanks to our very loyal and generous alumni base. We've set this year's goal at $40,000 so that we can continue to pursue our mission of supporting Fairhaven High School with restoration projects as well as a variety of programs that support the students and teachers.
Our beautiful Colorado Blue Spruce Tree on the west lawn of FHS keeps growing so we have room for more and more lights each year. For every $10 donation a bulb is lit. Once again we are going to award a $1,000 scholarship to a college bound student from the Class of 2023 in honor of the class that has the most donors, and a $500 scholarship in honor of the second place class. Last year the Class of 1966 was first and the Class of 1978 was second. We will update the tabulations each week on our website as well as on our Facebook page.
