Erin (Baldwin) Costa '08 Named Girls' Basketball Coach

     In early November FHS Athletic Director Chris Carrig announced the appointment of Erin (Baldwin) Costa '08 as the new head Girls' Basketball Coach at the high school.  Erin had an outstanding basketball career at FHS while scoring over 1,000 points in her four year career and leading her FHS team to it's first South Coast Conference championship.  Erin continued her basketball career at Southern New Hampshire University where  the team had its' winningest season in the school's history.  Erin was inducted into the Fairhaven High School Hall of Fame in 2018.
     A.D. Chris Carrig stated that "Erin's enthusiasm and vision for Fairhaven High School Girls' Basketball is contagious and she is sure to propel the program forward". When asked about her reaction to being selected to her new position Erin replied:   "I'm beyond excited and grateful to be hired as the Fairhaven High School Girls' Varsity Basketball Coach. The program has a strong history of producing successful, winning teams, and my goal as head coach is to consistently be competitive and continue to grow the program. I am blessed to have the opportunity to experience playing on my home court from the sidelines."
