2023 "Battle of the Classes" Update 12/23/23
During the past week the Class of 1986 rallied their troops and added 20 donations to their total which jumped them from 5th to 2nd place in the standings. Meanwhile the Class of 1964 raised their amazing total to 102. With just one week left to go, there are at least 10 classes in contention to have a $2,000 scholarship given in their name to a deserving graduate in the Class of 2024. We've received $39,810 to date from 542 donors. We're very close to our goal of $45,000. See the attached complete Donors List by YOG.
The FHS Alumni Association will give $2,000 scholarships to five students in honor of each of the five classes that have the most donors, including "in memory of" donations for their deceased classmates by December 31, 2023. The scholarships will be awarded to college bound graduating seniors of the FHS Class of 2024 at "Junior Day" on May 31, 2024.
