FHS Football continues to roll on as the 2025 team prepares to play their first round playoff game on Friday, November 7th at the beautiful FHS Alumni Stadium against #14 ranked East Bridgewater. Under the leadership of Coach Derek Almeida '98 (photo) this year's squad has compiled a record of 7-1,  and is ranked #3 in Division 6 statewide.

Averaging more than 40 points per game, this year's team has high hopes of being very competitive in the 2025 playoffs.  The Blue Devils have played in the Division 6 Super Bowl Championship game at Gillette Stadium for the past two seasons and took home the trophy in 2023.

Their sole loss this season has been a 47-43 shootout at West Bridgewater H.S., and our well coached, athletic team seems poised to make a strong run once again in the playoffs.  FHS has two senior running backs, Grant Darmofal  and Aaron Lague, who each have scored more points than any other player in the Southcoast region.  Lague has 14 touchdowns while Darmofal has scored 12.

And once again, we are headed towards another exciting show down with the Dartmouth Indians (6-2) on Thanksgiving Day at Dartmouth Stadium.
